A few weeks ago I had a wedding with lots and lots of pretty blooms! The bride, Kelsey, wanted blush, ivory, and darker pink blooms mixed with different types of greenery. This has definitely been a popular color palette this spring, and I’m not mad about it at all. The big design day was on my birthday, so I spent the entire day doing what I loved–flowers. It was such a perfect birthday even though I was running around getting ready for a big wedding weekend.  It also helped that Lamar brought me donuts, sushi, and took me out for tacos later that evening. It was such a happy day!

That day, my new friend Rachel of Maggie & Rachel Photography came over to take photos of some of the flowers I was playing with. She photographed the bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, guest table arrangement, and a few other pretties. It was so much fun, and having her over helped me relax a little bit. I was blown away by the photos she sent later that weekend. So many beautiful ones! Here are some of my favorites.

The next day was the big wedding day and let me tell you–it was one of my favorite weddings to date. We strung up a greenery garland and drapery for the ceremony, tied on pretty aisle markers, lots of greenery down the farm tables, floating flowers…it was magic. Photos coming soon!

What is your favorite spring color scheme? I want to know!
