It was probably the windiest days of all days in the north Georgia mountains, but it was also one of the most gorgeous days! Jeanice and Rob got married at White Oaks Barn in Dahlonega, Georgia. Their entire wedding was very nature-inspired with moss accents, outdoor ceremony, and lots of flowers and greens! Jeanice even went barefoot down the aisle, which I just loved. Both Jeanice and Rob have such a sweet spirit about them, and it was such a joy to design for them on their wedding day!

When planning florals with Jeanice, she knew she wanted her bouquet to be a focal point. So I gathered up lots of jewel-toned flowers, different shades of greenery, and pretty silk ribbon. I love the way it turned out, and she just loved it. One of my favorite memories from the day was revealing her bouquet to her and seeing her eyes light up! Such a sweet moment.

and one little snapshot of the bouquet from my iphone, because I just can’t resist:

Besides the bridal bouquet, my favorite parts of the floral design were the greenery and succulent table runner for the head table, the arbor installation, and the greenery and blooms I added to the Mr and Mrs chairs. It’s all in the details, people.

After we finished setting up for the wedding, Lamar and I walked around downtown Dahlonega. We wandered into this olive oil and balsalmic vinegar shop and walked out with 3 bottles! Who knew there could be so many interesting flavors of balsalmic vinegar?! After that we wasted time at a local pizza place until it was time to go back and clean up at the wedding. One thing I love about what I do is all of the time I get to spend with Lamar. It’s always fun exploring new places with him.

So tell me what you think. Aren’t the jewel-toned flowers in Jeanice’s bouquet just gorgeous?!
