Michelle and I first started planning her flowers last fall, so when her May wedding day finally arrived it was a bit surreal! Her and Bryan chose a gorgeous country club in Atlanta: The Capital City Club. It has beautiful gardens, views of the rolling golf-course, and of course the castle-like building is to die for. To see all of the little details come together was so much fun. Michelle wanted mostly neutral colored flowers with a few pops of blush and peach, which is easily one of the prettiest color palettes out there. You just can’t go wrong with neutrals with some subtle hints of color.
For Michelle and Bryan, I chose in season flowers which included anemones, ranunculus, stock, garden roses, and a few surprise succulents here and there. Needless to say, her bouquet smelled so Heavenly! Here are just a handful of the gorgeous photos taken by their photographer Once Like a Spark.
Beautiful, right? It really was such a joy getting to know Michelle and seeing her and Bryan’s story unfold on that gorgeous May afternoon. You can view more photos from this special day in the gallery as well as the photographer’s blog here.
In other news, it’s Thursday which means it’s time to get ready for another wedding weekend! This weekend’s wedding is all about greenery, tiny pops of dried white flowers, and denim. Yes, denim! Can’t wait to share some sneak peek photos over on Instagram on Saturday. Keep a lookout, because it’s gonna be good.
Happy Thursday!
