It was a beautiful summer day in August with clear skies and a slight breeze–a perfect day for Cara and David to say “I do”. After many months of planning, hours upon hours of work and dedication, they were finally married at Peachtree Christian Church. Afterward, their guests enjoyed dinner and dancing at the stunning Biltmore Ballrooms. The entire day was magical, and Cara looked so beautiful! It was an honor to design for Cara and her family. They are treasures!
For Cara, we chose flowers in a white and ivory palette with accents of dusty blue and lavender. She picked pecans from her grandfathers pecan orchard for me to include as little accents in her bouquet and several of the table arrangements. Can you spot them?
The flowers we used were as follows: ranunculus, garden roses, butterfly ranunculus, tube rose, sweet pea, hypericum berry, hellebore, snapdragon, queen anne’s lace, larkspur, dried lavender, blue thistle, magnolia foliage, and a variety of greenery.

Beautiful, right? This was one of our largest floral events of the year (and my career so far if I’m completely honest), and I couldn’t have done it without the following people by my side: Lamar, Lauren, Bethanne, several amazing day-of assistants, my mom, our babysitter, and my in-laws for keeping the kiddos. It takes a village to run a small business, and I’m thankful for mine!
Which detail of this design is your favorite? I’d love to know!
