Gold & Bloom is FIVE this year, and it’s our first time offering Mother’s Day bouquets. Usually we are busy with May weddings, but since they have been postponed due to the Coronavirus, we are choosing to get a little creative with our offerings. If you are interested in purchasing a Mother’s Day hand-tied bouquet, please CLICK HERE TO PREORDER.

What is a hand-tied bouquet, you ask? It’s like a bridesmaid bouquet–full of flowers, touches of greenery, and a lot of texture. It’ll be tied with satin ribbon. You will need to put the bouquet in water as soon as you get home.

What types of flowers will be used? I will use a collection of flowers from my own garden as well as some really special flowers from a local flower farm.

Tips: As soon as possible, remove the ribbon and place the bouquet in cold water. Change the water every day, trim the stems if needed, and pluck out any wilting flowers as the days go on. Eventually, you might have several flowers left that you can place into jars around your home.
