On a Friday in Dahlonega, Kirsten and Landon were married underneath the branches of a tree overlooking the vineyard. From the photos, one would probably never guess that this restaurant and expansive vineyard were located in Georgia. Montaluce is a truly special place, and although it is only about 2 hours from Atlanta, it transports you to the Italian countryside. I’ve been to Montaluce countless times for weddings and personal trips, and each time I’m amazed by the beauty around me. Kirsten and her mom were incredible to work with, and we had so many sweet conversations during the 15 month floral planning process. On their floral design board, we chose Romantic and Lush as two of the key words for their day–and we 100% accomplished that. From the light and airy ceremony tree design to the candlelit dinner, it has romance written all over it.
THE FLOWERS
For Kirsten and Landon, we used a variety of flowers in white, ivory, tan, blush, and mauve. We gathered anemone, butterfly ranunculus, garden roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, hellebore, spray roses, carnation from my local wholesale (Mayesh Cutflower), and rosemary and vines snipped from my garden.
