Mary and Richard’s wedding is one of my very favorites from our 2023 spring season, and when you take a look at the video and photos below you will see why! From the very first meeting where she and her mom described the lush garden florals they were dreaming of, to the wedding day when Mary’s mom told me how perfect everything was–the entire journey to their day was lovely. The couple chose to get married in the courtyard of Wahoo Grill in Decatur, which was the perfect setting for a spring garden wedding.

The flowers chosen for Mary and Richard are some of my very favorite spring blooms in soft pastels–viburnum, ranunculus, stock, sweet pea, hellebore, carnation, delphinium, hydrangea, mums, lisianthus, garden roses, scabiosa, and jasmine vine. I also included fresh mint and peiris from my garden, which added such a whimsical and fragrant touch.

My favorite design aspect of their day was the lush head table with florals spilling down the middle with pale blue taper candles. It was incredibly dreamy, I only wish I had taken more photos with my phone so that I could really show you how magnificent it was!
